Weekly revue: 2013 week #25 (June 15 to 21)
Sorry I'm late. I skipped two weeks, it's a first..! Now I have to catch up with lots of music.
Music event: On Sunday June 16 was a special event for The Lady Spade's secretary-in-chief Tiffany who is taking maternity leave for a while! The event had a talk show about all kinds of memories with The Lady Spade. It finished with a show full of good early Spade songs that I hadn't heard live in a long time: "Callsing", "wagamama na watashi", "D.L.T.L", and a cover of "Breakaway"!
Exhibition: We went to see an exhibition of Osaka pottery artist Riyoo Kim's works at Roppongi Hills' A/D Gallery (it's already over though). Many of his works are of heads with spikes or techno-ish lines, but he also makes stylish plates and cups that can be used in everyday life. Great stuff!
Party: On Wednesday was a friendly party at Sunday Bake Shop, for friends who are going to travel for a while... or so I thought, cause it then turned into an early birthday party for those who have a birthday during their absence... including me!! My birthday is in August, so this was definitely the earliest birthday surprise ever. :) Thanks Kazuko for the great cake, and everyone! I had a great time! :)

Weekly revue: 2013 week #22 (May 25 to 31)
Entertainment: Last weekend we went to try that Robot Restaurant with a couple of friends visiting Japan from Montreal. The hour-long show is a mix of sexy girls dancing, and of various kinds of robots entertaining and surprising the audience. The room is smaller than I expected, and it has seats facing each other with a walkway between them. The action happens everywhere, even with ceiling rails over audience seats. I was only aware of the lady robots that circle the city on an advertising truck, but there were many more types of robots too. Whether the show is worth ¥5000 is left up to you, but I had a fun time. :)
Food: - Recently opened Sri Lankan restaurant Acala.naatha (Facebook) in Nakano (mistakenly put this one the previous week, so I moved it here)
- Lunch at curry restaurant Sathi in Shibuya with Indian and Korean co-workers
- Roasted chicken at La Cocorico for an English lunch with other colleagues
Music release news: Negicco, Ino Hidefumi
