Technology Castlevania

CastlevaniaYesterday was the release of the 3rd series of Famicom Mini, old Famicom games re-released for the GameBoy Advance.

This time I bought Castlevania (akumajō Dracula in Japanese), which I used to play a lot. In just an hour or two I've already been through half of the game, however I'm certain the last levels will be tougher.

I also wanted to get Kid Icarus (Palthena no kagami) but it was already sold out at Sofmap 2 Shinjuku, so I'll have to wait until a restock or otherwise get it elsewhere.
The thing is I'd like to get it at a Sofmap cause I've got quite a bit of points from old RAM I sold them the other day. (I got about ¥4300 for 256MB+128MB of 133MHz RAM, not bad I think!)

And I hop you'll be kind enough to lend me the Castlevania game when you're done with it... I promise to find that Castlevania game I have, and lend it to you. I've also been a huge Castlevania fans for years. I remember that that the 3rd one was really good.

i got kid icarus. unlike the american version, it doesn't have those mile-long passwords, but a save feature. i have to say that nintendo has won me over with this famicon mini thing.

I checked out another store today and Kid Icarus was sold out too. I don't know if it's because it's a really popular game or because oppositely it wasn't stocked in good quantities.
I'll keep looking for it anyway...!

That's a really good thing about having all passwords replaced by a save feature in the new releases! I especially remember Metroid's being a major pain in the ass (like 32 characters or something!?). :)

Argh, Kid Icarus really seems to be sold out! I checked a bunch of stores in Akihabara today and nothing.

Worse, yesterday I looked it up on Amazon and added it to my cart, and thought I'd order from Amazon if I couldn't find it in Akiba, but tonight it's not in my cart anymore because it has sold out meanwhile! Shit... Oh well.
