Today I found this very useful accessory called Connetch (silly contraction of "connect" and "switch") by maker Scythe. It allows to switch between two audio sources, very simple but something I had been wanting for a while.
I found mine at Sofmap Shinjuku #4 (about to close on the 14th) on the audio floor for only ¥200. Unfortunately the product is discontinued so it may not be likely to be found easily elsewhere. Buy five if you can!

Good idea but when would you actually use this?

I use it to switch between two audio sources going into my sound card's line-in.
