Japan Japanese Language Proficiency Test result

2004 Japanese Language Profiency Test ResultWell, it arrived today... My estimates were quite exact.

"So, adding up my estimates, I'll be either just above the pass mark (60%), or below... I'll know in 3 months."

I failed by 1%. :(

It happens!! I failed the English Proficiency Test grade 1 twice. Once by 2 points, and the other by 3 points. Sucks - next time!

Patrick! that's too bad, but there's always next time. I might take French Proficiency Test (I don't even know what that's called) this spring... :)

I was thinking of next year test already ! you'll make it !!!

That's nothing to scoff at. Sure, you failed but most people can't go that far, so cheer up and don't beat yourself up about it.

Don't worry, next time you'll be able to make it!

oh that sucks. but i'm sure you'll do better next time. oh, and i discovered there is such a test here(i just didn't know about it before) for mandarin, but i'm too much of a chicken to even attempt such a thing.

Thanks all! I'm glad to have a better idea of my level anyway. :)

William, maybe you should give it a try even if just to have an idea where you're at with your mandarin. Does it have different levels like the JLPT or a point system?

i'm not sure how it works patrick. one of my colleagues told me about it, as he was thinking about taking it. when the new year holidays are over i'll see if he has more details about it. i'm not sure how good it would be for me, as i can't write and my reading is pretty minimal at best. on the other hand it might be something to get me into taking classes again.

This is not the right place to ask for your test results. Check your booklet and contact the appropriate place.
