New bicycle!
Two weeks ago my bike was stolen, and today we finally had ok weather (it's still a bit chilly but at least it wasn't raining, just misty) so I went to buy a new one!
I went to the Kōenji branch of Olympic, a chain store that's kind of half-supermarket half-Wal-Mart-type, where I bought a 3-speed 26" wheel Yokota bicycle, with a basket for Tomoko's shufu (housewife) duties. :)
It was ¥11,800, almost half the price I would have paid in a bicycle shop for similar. I think that was a good deal.

Nice bike! We bought a similar one for Yuko last year from Seiyu, just about the same price.

Yeah! I think I'm going to like this one. :)
They also had cheaper models without speeds, around ¥8900. That's cheap!
