on the credits for this album, nomiya maki is credited with "voice, atmosphere, clothes" - which is pretty much her role in pizzicato five! the other members of portable rock were tomofumi suzuki (guitar, keyboard) and nobuo nakahara (bass, keyboard). the songs on this cd fall into the category of mid 80's electronic dance/pop (think early-madonna or berlin) - some of them are quite good. unfortunately, like a lot of other early to mid 80's synth pop it sounds very dated now.
